Here are the top attractions and hidden gems that make it a must-visit destination in Central Maui.
1. Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum:
Step back in time at the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum, housed in a historic mill manager’s residence. Fascinating exhibits explore Maui’s sugarcane plantation era and its lasting impact on the island’s culture, offering real insight into Hawaii’s rich agricultural heritage. The museum is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the last admission at 1 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for seniors and military, $5 for children, free for ages 5 and under, and free for kamaʻāina (Hawaii residents).
