Snorkel on Maui – Exclusive Deals from The Snorkel Store

There are several areas to go snorkeling on Maui, including:

South Maui

Maui’s Kanaio Coast features the untouched beauty of Maui’s most recent lava formations – formed less than 100 years ago — are virtually unchanged by sand erosion. Of course, you can walk right out of your Ekahi Village rental condo and onto Keawakapu Beach for great snorkeling as well.

A couple of rental tips: A custom fit snorkel set makes all the difference in the water. The dry mouth snorkel, which keeps water out your mouth in 3 different ways, is worth it on its own!

West Maui

While you will hear a lot about Molokini and snorkeling, but West Maui and Lana’i rank higher for snorkeling spots on Maui. A smaller group of 6-8 people is recommended for a private tour in West Maui.

Molokini

As mentioned above, you will hear or have heard a lot about Molokini – and with good reason! Molokini is a must-see, bucket-list item for life. Molokini is one of the most exotic destinations in Hawaii! There are a couple of options you can choose for this tour. You can choose a power raft tour to beat the crowds and more personal attention. There are also small boat tours of Molokini and Turtle Town. This tour includes 36 passengers.

Lana’i

The island of Lana’i is stilled widely untouched making in one of the best snorkeling areas on island. Actually, Lana’i is likened to Molokini 50 years ago. You might also see some dolphins, as Lana’i is a natural dolphins habitat. We have some great Lanai and dolphin tours available.
