2023 Maui Events

The new year is here, and we are more excited than ever to be on Maui. This year is slated to be the best one yet with more events returning after a pandemic hiatus. From indoor events to outdoor events, events by land and events by sea – there is something for everyone! The Pauli Family Condos at Wailea have put together a list of 2023 Maui Events and we even snuck in some notable mentions. 

Monthly Events on Maui

January: Working to preserve the beautiful lands of Maui, the 21st Annual Buy Back the Beach event works to do just that. Through a night of fun, delicious food, the best entertainment and an auction, attendees are able to celebrate while contributing to the conservation of Maui.  

February: If you’re thinking of coming to Maui for a magical whale-watching experience, February is peak season. From daily tours to a private boat with dinner, there are lots of ways to enjoy whale watching on Maui 

March: If you’ve got a passion for running, don’t miss the Maui 5k. With both a 5k run and a 1-mile walk option, Maui County schools are the beneficiaries of this fun run.   

April: Looking to add to your marathon medals? The Maui Marathon and Half Marathon are situated just along the coast for gorgeous views while you run.   

May: Back in 2023 for the first time since the pandemic, the Seaberry Hall Craft Fair is Maui’s favorite springtime event! Enjoy arts and crafts, silent auctions, entertainment, food vendors, kaiki games, bounce houses, local plants and flowers, and so much more!  

June: Bring your appetite to this highly anticipated event! The Kapalua Food and Wine Festival brings together some of the most amazing chefs and vendors all in one place. A variety of dinners and tastings are available throughout the festival.   

July: Discover the undiscovered at the Maui Film Festival. Featuring the world’s most talented artists, this festival has the best and brightest from the silver screen to Maui for 4 days of film fun.  

August: There isn’t a bad month for hiking, but August is definitely one of the best months for it! Get outside and truly immerse yourself in some of the best hikes on Maui.   

September: Part of the best time to visit Maui, September gives you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors! From fishing and snorkeling to cultural tours, these Maui activities will keep you busy all month long.  

October: One of the biggest celebrations on Maui, Halloween in Historic Lahaina Town is tons of fun for the whole family. Candy, costumes, music and food are just a few of the fun things to experience.  

November: With local vendors showcasing their talent, the Hawaiian Airline Made in Maui County Festival brings together all of the best parts of Maui. From the people to the food and art, there is something special for everyone.
