Keawakapu Beach
Undoubtedly one of the best beaches in all of Maui, Wailea Beach is home to some of the best resorts, including ours! With wide, soft sand beaches, whale sightings in the winter and soft gentle waves, there is something for everyone here. Makena ‘Big’ Beach
Known as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Big Beach offers gorgeous blue waters that are perfect for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. There is also almost a mile of beach for sunbathers and sandcastle builders alike to enjoy. You’ll find this small slice of heaven around mile marker 4 on Makena Alanui Road.
Ka’anapali Beach
This resort area is home to many accommodations for one reason, the beaches are amazing! Nearly three miles of sand stretch along the coastline where the warm ocean waters meet the west side of the island. You can also find Black Rock here. This cluster of rocks was known to ancient Hawaiians as the place where the souls of the dead met a god named Pu’u Keka’a. Take highway 30 toward Ka’anapali and then turn on Ka’anapali Parkway at mile marker 24.
Baldwin Beach Park
Loaded with amenities not offered at other beaches, Baldwin Beach Park is one of the most visited beaches on the North Shore. Spacious parking lots, public restrooms, showers, sports fields and even a picnic area make this spot a must-stop for families. Not only does it come with great access to amenities, but it offers spectacular views and warm sandy beaches. Follow highway 36 east and you’ll find this gem just past the golf course.
Wai’anapanapa Beach
You won’t want to miss this stop at mile marker 32 on the Road to Hana! Head down the gravel road to Wai’anapanapa State Park where you will find the trail that leads you to one of the most unique spots in the world, Maui’s black sand beach. With towering lava rocks, a sea arch and even lava caves, you won’t want to miss this gorgeous beach. Be aware, that as of November 1, 2021, all visitors must make reservations no more than 14 days before their arrival at the park.
